Khaberni - Samsung Electronics announced the global launch of The Freestyle+, the latest AI-powered mobile projector, designed to deliver a more flexible and customized entertainment experience across a variety of spaces.
The Freestyle+ was unveiled prior to the CES 2026 exhibition in Las Vegas, building on the unique design of the original The Freestyle model, with more advanced AI capabilities, higher brightness, and diverse entertainment features, allowing users to enjoy content more freely with minimal interference in settings and adjustments.
Commenting on the matter, the Executive Vice President for the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, Hon Lee, said: "The Freestyle+ reflects Samsung's vision in innovating displays that naturally adapt to users' lifestyles and mobility between spaces. By combining true portability and artificial intelligence that enhances both the viewing environment and the content itself, The Freestyle+ facilitates enjoying a high-quality and consistent experience wherever you are."
Smarter AI lets you navigate and watch instantly
At the heart of The Freestyle+ is the AI OptiScreen feature, Samsung’s AI-enhanced screen optimization feature, which automatically adjusts the image to fit different spaces, allowing the user to fix, select, and start watching immediately.
AI OptiScreen includes a range of smart features designed to automatically optimize the image across multiple surfaces and environments, including:
- 3D Auto Keystone automatically corrects distortion even when projecting on uneven or slanted surfaces, like corners, curtains, or angled walls.
- Real-time Focus continuously adjusts focus while moving or rotating the projector, maintaining clear and stable images without blur or haze.
- Screen Fit automatically adjusts the image to match the display space when used with a compatible screen accessory.
- Wall Calibration analyzes the color or pattern of the projection surface and minimizes visual distortion for clearer viewing.
This intelligent performance is enhanced through Vision AI Companion, Samsung’s dedicated AI platform for displays, which integrates the enhanced Bixby with AI services from global partners, providing a more natural and seamless interaction with the displayed content.
Easy to carry, designed for everyday viewing
The Freestyle+ is designed with a focus on portability, featuring a compact cylindrical body that makes it easy to move between rooms or take on the go. With a brightness of up to 430 ISO lumens, the device offers nearly twice the brightness of the previous generation, helping to display content clearly and attractively in daily living environments.
The Freestyle+ allows users the freedom to move with it without worrying about the suitability of the space for display. Its design supports a 180-degree swivel, allowing projection at almost any angle, including walls, floors, and ceilings without the need for stands or additional accessories, providing flexible viewing settings that naturally adapt to different rooms and moments of the day.
Entertainment on the go with immersive sound
The Freestyle+ is designed to keep up with moments beyond the living room, offering entertainment wherever you are without relying on external devices or fixed settings. Integrated access to Samsung TV Plus and certified streaming service partners, as well as the Samsung Gaming Hub, enables users to stream, play, and explore content directly from the projector without needing additional devices.
In terms of sound, The Freestyle+ offers an immersive audio experience that fills the room through its built-in 360-degree speaker, tuned to produce richer and fuller sound in a compact design. The Q-Symphony technology allows synchronization of the projector with compatible Samsung speakers, providing a more harmonious and deep sound experience wherever it is used.
Samsung Electronics will showcase The Freestyle+ during CES 2026, taking place in Las Vegas from January 6 to 9, with a gradual global launch planned during the first half of the year.
