A source in the ambulance: Martyrdom of a girl by gunfire in Jabalia, outside the deployment areas of the occupying army
Khaberni - 11-year-old girl Hamsa Hawso was martyred this morning in the Faluja area of Jabalia city west of Jabalia Camp in the northern Gaza Strip, outside the yellow zone due to Israeli armored vehicle gunfire.
In the same context, local sources reported repeated gunfire from helicopters east of Khan Younis city in the south of the Strip.
Since this morning, the eastern areas of the Central Governorate in Deir al-Balah city and Al-Bureij camp have been witnessing intense artillery shelling and gunfire from the occupying forces' vehicles and helicopters.
This comes amidst detecting several occupation vehicles and a booby-trapped vehicle moving towards the vicinity of "Al-Batsh" cemetery, in Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City, under fire cover inside the yellow line.
A source in the Gaza Strip Ambulance and Emergency department reported casualties in an Israeli raid on a house in Al-Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of Gaza City, while the occupying army stated that it targeted a leader in the Hamas movement north of the Strip.
Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that the raid targeted a house on Yafa Street outside the deployment areas of the occupying army in the neighborhood located east of Gaza City. A medical source in the Baptist Hospital described the wounds of several injured as serious.
Meanwhile, the Anadolu Agency reported that two Palestinians were martyred following an Israeli airstrike that targeted a house in Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City, injuring three others.
The Israeli army stated in a press release that its soldiers attacked a prominent leader in the Hamas movement who was planning attacks against the army forces north of Gaza, and that the army responded to gunfire at its forces.
The statement added that Hamas militants had fired earlier today, Wednesday, on an area where its forces are stationed north of the Gaza Strip, and considered the gunfire a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement.
The Israeli army radio mentioned that the army's attack in Gaza targeted a leader in the Al-Qassam Brigades with the rank of battalion commander.
This is part of the continuous Israeli breaches of the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on October 10 of last year, which resulted in the martyrdom of 424 Palestinians and the injury of 1199 others, according to the latest figures from the Ministry of Health in the Strip.
On October 8, 2023, Israel began a genocide in Gaza that lasted two years, exceeding the death toll to 71,000 martyrs and 171,000 injured Palestinians, in addition to massive destruction affecting 90% of the civil infrastructure, with reconstruction costs estimated by the United Nations at about 70 billion dollars.
