Khaberni - The United Arab Organization for Scientific Research appointed Dr. Amjad Bahjat Shamout as the chairman of its board for the 2026–2028 term, succeeding the former president of the Arab Parliament, Adel Al-Asoumi, after the end of his term.
The Secretary-General of the organization, Dr. Nasser Al-Fadhli, stated that Dr. Shamout was chosen due to his vast experiences and honorable Arab history, expressing his gratitude for accepting this task at a pivotal stage that comes two years after the establishment of the organization and the consolidation of its operational foundations, looking forward with the new board members to achieve the organization's developmental goals.
