Khaberni - The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced on Wednesday that a severe financial crisis has forced it this week to lay off hundreds of its employees in Gaza, noting that they had previously left the sector.
A spokesperson for UNRWA stated in an email on Tuesday, “571 local UNRWA employees outside Gaza were notified of the immediate termination of their services”.
