Khaberni - The Rental Disputes Center, along with the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charity Foundation, inaugurated a new community initiative called "Satr", coinciding with the designation of 2026 to be the Year of the Family, enhancing the goals of the National Agenda for family growth in the UAE and in line with the strategies of both entities to consolidate social cohesion and humanitarian work in Dubai, and to support families burdened with rental dues, contributing to the stability of the local community.
The initiative aims to establish the values of solidarity and preserve the integrity of the family fabric through a humanitarian message centered on enabling the targeted families to live in safety and peace, reflecting the spirit of Dubai in spreading values of goodness and supporting needy groups.
"Satr" will extend throughout the year 2026 as a joint call for community responsibility, covering the release of those struggling with rental lawsuits and financial obligations, and improving the performance indicators of the center through closing as many enforcement files related to these cases as possible, in addition to supporting social programs that enhance Dubai's position as a leading city in humanitarian work locally and globally.
Abdul Qader Musa Mohamed, the head of the Rental Disputes Center, stated that "Satr" is an extension of the principles upon which Dubai was founded, noting that the center does not only rely on judicial procedures but also extends a helping hand to struggling families according to precise criteria that ensure the support reaches its rightful recipients.
From his side, Saif Omar Al Dalil, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charity Foundation, appreciated this partnership, affirming the foundation's commitment to enabling humanitarian efforts in support of the Year of the Family.
It is expected that the initiative will have a broad impact through the release of 111 strugglers, settling 187 enforcement files, and supporting 232 families, where the foundation has allocated 10 million dirhams to enhance family stability, thereby enhancing the humanitarian role of the center alongside its comprehensive judicial system in protecting rights and stabilizing the rental sector in Dubai.
