Khaberni - Orange Jordan signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Jordanian Payment and Clearing Systems Company (JoPACC), as a strategic step aimed at enhancing integration between the digital sector and the financial technology sector, and supporting the development of qualified national competencies to keep up with the rapid developments in these vital fields.
The memorandum focuses on enabling graduates of the programming academy affiliated with the Orange Digital Center, by providing them with practical experiences and applicable opportunities that meet job market requirements, through specialized training programs, joint innovation initiatives, alongside networking opportunities with the financial technology sector.
Orange Jordan's CEO, Engineer Philippe Mansour, highlighted the importance of launching a new joint initiative with JoPACC, building on the existing collaboration in the field of financial technology through Orange Money. He emphasized that this partnership reinforces Orange Jordan’s commitment to empowering students of the programming academy through practical projects, and innovative skills, in addition to direct exposure to market requirements, while also remarking on JoPACC's role in supporting qualified graduates through the FinTech center - JOIN, as well as supporting startups affiliated with the BIG by Orange program. He added that this initiative contributes to accelerating the transformation of technical ideas into practical solutions in the payments sector, enhancing the adoption of advanced financial technologies, and supporting the sustainable growth of the digital ecosystem in Jordan.
On her part, the CEO of JoPACC, Maha Al Behou, expressed her delight with this cooperation, affirming the importance of this partnership in building effective communication bridges with the graduates, and providing them with the opportunities they need to confidently enter the job market. She added that investing in supporting and empowering the new generation is a real investment in the future of the financial and technical sector in Jordan, emphasizing JoPACC’s commitment, through the FinTech center - JOIN, to support graduates who have innovative ideas in the field of financial technology, and assisting them in turning these ideas into real, scalable projects and businesses, contributing to enhancing the innovation ecosystem and entrepreneurship in the kingdom.
It is worth mentioning that Orange Jordan won the first place in the King Hussein bin Abdullah II Award for Voluntary Work in its second edition in the for-profit institutions category within corporate social responsibility for the Programming Academy affiliated to the Orange Digital Center, with more than 1020 graduates to date, achieving an employment rate of 80%, reflecting the tangible positive impact of the company's programs in enhancing youth opportunities in the job market.
