Khaberni - A Jordanian woman was surprised by a water bill amounting to 80 dinars for the month of October in the Rashid Suburb area of Amman, after her monthly bills used to range between 5-7 dinars.
She stated in radio statements that the following bill amounted to 29 dinars, confirming that these readings are incorrect, noting that there are five people in the household.
The complainant confirmed that she recently noticed Khaberni that a loud noise was coming from the meter, which turned out to be counting the air, suspecting that this is the reason for the high bill.
Minister of Water Abu Al-Saud admitted Khaberni in previous statements to the phenomenon of water meters counting air, asking Jordanians to install air traps before the meters.
