Khaberni - The Chief of the Joint Staff, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Huneiti, met on Wednesday at the General Command, the Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Kingdom, Manish Chauhan.
The meeting explored areas to develop bilateral cooperation and prospects for its expansion, alongside exchanging views on regional and international developments of mutual interest, enhancing the interests of the two friendly countries.
Major General Al-Huneiti highlighted the robustness of bilateral relations, emphasizing the importance of building upon the achievements in military cooperation and activating exchange programs and expertise enhancement through joint exercises and training programs.
In turn, the Indian Ambassador praised the pivotal role played by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, in supporting regional stability, appreciating the humanitarian efforts carried out by the Jordanian Armed Forces both within the kingdom and abroad.
The meeting was attended by a number of senior officers from the Jordanian Armed Forces.
