Details of a Traffic Accident for Jordanian Pilgrims Bus in Saudi Arabia  Photos

Khaberni  - A Jordanian transportation bus carrying 34 pilgrims was involved in an accident in Saudi territory just before reaching the Sakaka area on Wednesday dawn.
The accident resulted in 11 injuries, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, with two cases described as moderate (fractures), while the general condition of the rest of the injured is good.
The statement also noted that the transportation company quickly sent a replacement bus to transport the pilgrims and continue their journey to the Holy Lands, confirming ongoing communication and coordination with the relevant authorities.

 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Follows Up  : 

Latterly, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued the following statement  : 

 The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs is following up on the accident involving a bus of Jordanian pilgrims that occurred this morning in the Miqwa area of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The bus was carrying 34 citizens. 

The official spokesperson for the ministry, Ambassador Fuad Al-Majali, stated that the ministry—through its Operations Directorate and Consular Affairs—alongside the embassy in Riyadh and the General Consulate in Jeddah, followed the incident from the moment it occurred with the concerned Saudi authorities, noting that the accident resulted in 11 citizens being injured.

Al-Majali confirmed that the ministry will continue to monitor the condition of the citizens, offering all necessary support and assistance in coordination with the relevant authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, expressing his wishes for their swift recovery.
