Khaberni - The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Education for Educational Affairs and the head of the examination committee, Nawaf Al-Ajarmah, said that there have been 213 violations by the end of the fifth day of the General Secondary Examinations supplementary session.

Al-Ajarmah confirmed that the penalties were imposed as follows: 13 warnings, 45 annulments of subjects, most related to attempts to bring in electronic devices designed for cheating like receiver earpieces and VIP cards into the examination hall, and 10 penalties of cancelling the examination session, mostly due to attempts to use cheat sheets during the exam.

He added that 141 instances of cancelling two examination sessions were due to bringing communication devices or electronic devices into the examination room and 4 violations involved a ban from taking the exam for two years related to cases of photographing the question paper and taking it outside the examination room.

He reaffirmed that the previous five days of the exam proceeded normally as planned, and that no notes were received by the operations rooms that affected the conduct of the exam. He noted that Wednesday was the sixth day of the General Secondary Examinations, and that today more than (15,000) candidates were scheduled to take the computer science subject.

Regarding the exam papers, Al-Ajarmah stated that all the committees of specialized educational supervisors who discussed these papers after each exam confirmed that all questions were from the curriculum, that they considered individual differences among students appropriately, and that they were free from errors and the timing was suitable.
