And he revealed secrets about his personal life saying: "My house is always open, and if I want to sit and eat there have to be 50 people, my house is always open to people."
In response to a question about whether he was a good husband, Fares Karem said: "If I'm at my house you see how I deal with my family, what do you think, am I good with my kids and my home or not!! And although I reached the point where I wanted to divorce because I wanted a home like ours, we are a chair with four legs: my father, my mother, my sister, and me, no one is allowed to break a leg from them, it's impossible I won’t allow it."
Karem also confessed to verbally abusing his wife, saying: "I apologized to her later but she didn't respond, and as much as I am harsh, I am also tender, I am all heart, kindness, and tenderness."
Fares Karem mentioned that he is in the process of completing his divorce papers, where he said: "I failed in marriage and not everything the priest says in church is true, my mother and sister were the reason I married Heba", and added: "Fatherhood broke me and I wish I had remained single... and no matter what I do the blame is on Fares Karem because he is flirtatious and I wish I hadn’t sung 'Neswangy' and 'Al Tanoura'."
