Khaberni - Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan sent MP Dima Tahboub two files, about the newly created positions during 2024 and 2025 in his government’s tenure, after the significant controversy caused by Minister of Labor Khaled Al-Bakkar under the parliament dome responding to Tahboub's questions.
Tahboub stated in a morning post on "Facebook" that her relationship with Hassan is based on respect, and despite limited communication, he responds to some public issues and her observations, and he ensures to provide information "when available" and welcomes constructive suggestions and studies them.
Tahboub confirmed her appreciation for the professional and respectable beginning of mending the breaches caused by the Ministry of Labor’s response to the parliamentary question on decent work standards, which caused an uproar under the parliament's dome last Monday.
Tahboub attached in the post a copy of the images and commented that the number of new jobs is one of the six standards of decent work, not the sole criterion for evaluating the government's performance.
She believes that there is no surplus in jobs, no real reduction in unemployment, and no change in the market structure because the government is managing the crisis, not solving it fundamentally.
