Miyahna We Have Not Yet Been Able to Determine the Cause of the Water Quality Change in Shmeisani

Khaberni - The spokesperson for the Jordan Water Company "Miyahna", Ibrahim Qbeilat, confirmed on Tuesday that the company - until this news was written - has not been able to determine the cause of the water quality change in the Shmeisani area in the capital Amman.

Qbeilat said during his statements to "Al-Mamlaka" channel, that the technical staff worked on dividing the area and placing water valves to make the necessary closures, with the aim of trying to control the change in water quality and find out the main reason for this change.

He pointed out that the company is making great efforts to provide all subscribers in the area with about 4 m³ of water.

In a previous statement on Monday, Qbeilat indicated that the samples taken from the water in the Shmeisani area showed that it does not meet the Jordanian specifications, confirming that no cases of harm to citizens have been recorded due to the change in water quality.

The company had reported on Monday evening that a comprehensive survey of the area of complaint was carried out, isolating the area and disconnecting a number of household connections. It confirmed that all corrective measures are being coordinated with the relevant authorities.
