Khaberni - Yemeni media outlets disclosed today (Monday), that the head of the Southern Transitional Council, Major General Aidarous Qasem Al-Zubaidi, along with several council leaders, are heading to the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
The sources clarified that Al-Zubaidi and the council members will meet with the Saudi Minister of Defense, Prince Khalid bin Salman, to discuss the latest developments in the southern provinces, emphasizing that the goal is to discuss political and security developments, and coordinate on issues related to the current phase.
The member of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, Tariq Saleh, had arrived in Riyadh two days ago and met with the Saudi Minister of Defense, while yesterday, the Deputy Head of the Transitional Council and member of the leadership council, Abdulrahman al-Muharrami (Abu Zara’a), arrived in Riyadh and met with Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman.
Al-Muharrami wrote on his “X” account: The meeting was dominated by a spirit of brotherhood and understanding, and exchanging views on the latest developments in Yemen, primarily the just southern cause, and discussing ways to coordinate and enhance joint efforts to support stability in Yemen, and preserve the security of the region.
