Khaberni - The head of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, MP Nimr Al-Sleihat, emphasized the important role played by the Audit Bureau in preserving public funds and enhancing the financial and administrative oversight system in state institutions.
This was during his chairmanship of the committee meeting today, Tuesday, which was dedicated to discussing the clarifications included in the Audit Bureau's report concerning the Ministry of Education for the fiscal year 2024, with the presence of the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Education for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Sahar Al-Shakhatreh.
The committee recommended the necessity for the Ministry of Education to form a committee to study the tender related to the school expansion project and to provide the Finance Committee with all observations related to this project.
For their part, the attending deputies emphasized the importance of following up on the clarifications included in the Audit Bureau's report and working towards closing them properly.
In turn, Al-Shakatreh explained that a large number of clarifications had been rectified, pointing out the ongoing partnership and coordination with the Audit Bureau regarding the clarifications received.
