AlBilawi from the Middle East The Authentic Jordanian Tribal Values are Based on Wisdom Tolerance and Conflict Management

The Middle East University organized a dialogue session titled: "Violence and its Impact on the Academic and Tribal Environment," presented by His Excellency the King's Advisor for Tribal Affairs, Pasha Kunaian Al-Bilawi, with the presence of the Chairman of the University's Board of Trustees, Dr. Yaqoub Nasser Al-Din, and the University President, Professor Dr. Salam Al-Muhadin, along with a number of deputies, specialists, and representatives of the local community.
This session is part of the university's commitment to play its national and educational role, enhancing the culture of constructive dialogue, and establishing a safe academic environment based on mutual respect, in line with its mission to prepare conscious students capable of making a positive contribution to their society, and rejecting various forms of violence and negative behaviors within the campus.
During the session, managed by the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Hazem Al-Nasour, His Excellency Pasha Al-Bilawi emphasized that the phenomenon of violence in universities cannot be separated from intellectual and behavioral accumulations with social and cultural dimensions, explaining that the university represents a pivotal station in shaping the awareness of youth, and building a solid concept of national belonging based on the rule of law, respect for others, and acceptance of plurality.
He pointed out that the authentic Jordanian tribal values are based on wisdom, tolerance, and conflict management, and are not related to manifestations of chaos or assault, noting that the Jordanian tribes have always been a fundamental pillar of national stability, and an active partner in enhancing community peace and the cohesion of the state.
On his part, the Chairman of the University's Board of Trustees, Dr. Yaqoub Nasser Al-Din, said that addressing this phenomenon requires enhancing the culture of dialogue and openness within academic institutions, and creating safe spaces for students to express their opinions through civilized means, confirming that the real investment lies in building the aware individual capable of protecting himself and his country from sliding towards violence or intolerance.
The session witnessed an extended discussion with the students, addressing the causes of university violence and its reflections on the educational process and the social fabric, alongside proposing questions and practical visions for preventing this phenomenon, contributing to building a more conscious, secure, and stable academic environment.
On the sidelines of the session, His Excellency Pasha Al-Bilawi, accompanied by a number of attendees, visited the "Art House" exhibition, which contained dozens of artistic and national paintings that depict various stages of the Hashemite family's life.
