Khaberni - The Ministry of Social Development controlled 671 beggars during 524 rounds to combat begging in various regions of the kingdom last December.
The ministry stated in its report for December 2025 that it received 7991 studies for the purpose of issuing health insurance cards, and 149 transactions for exemption from treatment costs, while it conducted 130 transactions for the service of settling heirs' rights and 2056 transactions related to exemption from work permits.
According to the report, 35 children were admitted to child care homes, and 39 children left, while the number of children delivered to alternative families was 6, and 5 new nurseries were licensed.
The report indicated that the number of women and children benefiting from the services of social service offices - Family and Juvenile Protection Administration was 197 cases, and the number of juveniles benefiting from the services of juvenile education and rehabilitation homes affiliated with the ministry was 268 juveniles, 96 of whom benefited from vocational rehabilitation programs. The number of working children who received psychological and social services and interventions according to the case management methodology was 62 children, and the number of beneficiaries of social service offices in reform and rehabilitation centers was 792 beneficiaries.
Regarding the general register of associations, the cumulative number of registered and existing associations according to the effective Associations Law was 6037 associations, where 27 new associations were registered, while the number of requests for amendment of the basic regulations of the associations was 330 associations, and the number of associations that were dissolved was 15 associations, the number of temporary bodies that completed their work was 5, the number of existing temporary bodies was 11 bodies, the number of dissolution committees that completed their work was 14 committees, and the number of associations that were warned was 51 associations.
According to the report's data for the operations of the National Aid Fund, the total number of families benefiting from the monthly financial aid program was 50044 families, and from the unified cash support program 19887 families, and the number of families benefiting from the training program was 517 families while the response rate to the calls received by the fund was (100%)
