Live ammunition injuries and suffocation during the occupations raid on Birzeit University

Khaberni - A number of students were injured by live ammunition and tear gas suffocation, during the Israeli occupation army's raid on the Birzeit University campus in the occupied West Bank.

The public relations officer at Birzeit University, Nerdin Al-Mimi, reported that a student was shot in the foot with live ammunition, while two other students suffered bruises due to falls, and several others were affected by tear gas inhalation.

She pointed out that the occupation forces fired live ammunition, tear gas, and sound grenades inside the university campus.

She also noted that about 8,000 students were present inside the university during the raid, confirming that the occupation forces smashed the main gate of the university and stormed several buildings and faculties, and seized equipment belonging to the student movement.
