Khaberni - Amman Ahliyya University, represented by its president, Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Private Syrian University, represented by its president, Professor Dr. Abd al-Razzaq al-Hussein, aiming to enhance academic and research cooperation between the two parties.
The signing ceremony was attended by the Director of Quality and Academic Accreditation from the Private Syrian University, Professor Hammam Homsy, and from Amman Ahliyya University, the Dean of Scientific Research Professor Dr. Ahmad Abu Arabi, and the Director of the Global Outreach Center Dr. Firouz Abu Suweilem. This agreement is part of the universities' commitment to expanding areas of partnership and shared academic cooperation.
Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan stated that the signing of the memorandum aligns with Amman Ahliyya University's vision to enhance its academic partnerships with Arab universities and open new horizons for scientific and research expertise exchange. This contributes to the development of academic programs and the improvement of higher education quality, serving students and faculty members at both institutions.
On his part, Professor Dr. Abd al-Razzaq al-Hussein expressed his pride in signing this memorandum with Amman Ahliyya University, pointing out that the agreement represents an important step toward building effective and sustainable academic cooperation and strengthening collaborative work in the fields of scientific research and academic exchange, thereby supporting the higher education journey in both countries.
The memorandum stipulates cooperation in the fields of scientific research, faculty and student exchange, and the organization of joint conferences, workshops, and academic activities that serve the scientific and educational interests of both universities.
The visit included a tour of several facilities and colleges of the university, including the College of Dental Medicine, the Department of Physical Therapy at the College of Allied Medical Sciences, the College of Architecture and Design, and the Arena Sports Complex.
The delegation was received during the visit by the Dean of the College of Allied Medical Sciences Professor Dr. Ghalib Areiqat, Head of the Department of Physical Therapy Dr. Saad Al-Nassan, Dean of the College of Architecture and Design Professor Dr. Rama Rabadi, and supervisors and officials of the Arena Sports Complex.
The delegation members expressed their admiration for the significant development in the university’s colleges, laboratories, and facilities, in addition to the exceptional Arena Sports Complex with its departments and advanced equipment.
