Khaberni - Turkish authorities have arrested a manager of top art stars in the country and one of the prominent actors as part of the drug investigations they recently launched, which have shaken the artistic community.
The artistic director known as Haluk Şentürk, who manages many prominent stars such as Hadise, Deniz Seki, Kamran Akkor, Norm Ender, Aşık Nur Yengi, and Gülşen, was detained during a security operation carried out by the Istanbul Prosecutor's Office, and Şentürk was then taken to court to give his statement.
In addition, within a fourth wave of similar operations over months, the Turkish authorities targeted a wide range of public figures, catching the young actor Doğukan Güngeor, famous for his role in the series "Virgin Soup," in a campaign that included about 26 suspects in a drug case in Istanbul.
These concurrent operations, which included the provinces of Istanbul, Izmir, Denizli, and Muğla, have resulted in the arrest of 23 people among those wanted.
In addition to Güngeor, social media star Burak Altındağ was caught, along with several other celebrities like Pınar Boz Alber, Merve Erigit, Ozge Bitmez, and Faisal Afji, among others who were charged with offenses related to the possession of drugs and stimulants for personal use, facilitating their use, or promoting and facilitating prostitution.
Reports indicate that the investigations led by the Istanbul Public Prosecutor's Office have so far resulted in the arrest of 36 individuals in this case.
