190 violations in the supplementary session until the fourth day and deprivation of 3 students for two years

Khaberni - The director of examinations and testing at the Ministry of Education, Dr. Mohammad Shahade, revealed that the number of violations in the general secondary examination for the winter supplementary session, by the end of last Monday, the fourth day of the examination, reached 190 violations.

Shahade explained that most of the violations involved attempts to bring communication devices into the examination halls, and 3 students were caught photographing the exam questions, resulting in a two-year ban for them. He added that the penalties for violators range from warnings to a two-year ban.

He said that the exams in the past few days proceeded normally and smoothly, noting that committees are formed to discuss the exam papers at the end of each exam. In this context, there were no mistakes in the questions, while the timing was appropriate, and the questions were considerate of all student levels.

He outlined that grading is conducted using two methods; the first is through a scanner, which started from the first day of the exams, and the second is manual grading. There are 38 grading centers, employing 8,000 graders. He noted that grading of the mathematics exam will begin today, involving the correction of 50,000 booklets by more than 3,000 graders in 13 grading centers, over a week.

He indicated that the grading of exam papers is ongoing, which may take between 20 to 30 days from the date of the last exam session, expecting the results of the current session to be announced in the first half of next month.

He pointed out that the exams started on the 27th of last month and will end on the 17th of this month, spanning 11 exam days, with 131,000 participating in this session.
