Khaberni - Ayman Samawi, the General Secretary of the Jordanian Basketball Federation, said that the federation continues its efforts to expand the audience base and enhance the media presence of the Premier League (CFI) basketball championship, locally and internationally, aligning with the accelerating evolution of the digital media system.
Samawi explained in a press statement today, Monday, that the federation, in cooperation with the Jordanian sports channel, the media partner, will work on obtaining the broadcast rights, which will allow the transmission of the Premier League games simultaneously with the satellite broadcast on the official platform of the federation on the social media site (Facebook), providing fans residing outside the kingdom the opportunity to watch the games live.
He mentioned that the federation plans, at a later stage, to broadcast the league games on the (YouTube) platform once the completion of some necessary technical arrangements, aiming to provide higher broadcast quality and a complete viewing experience that meets the aspirations of fans and followers.
Samawi confirmed that this step comes from the federation's belief in the importance of digital media and its pivotal role in supporting Jordanian basketball, enhancing technical work, and strengthening the relationship with the fans, ensuring a permanent and active presence for local championships in the media scene.
