Khaberni - A Syrian delegation, led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Assad Hassan Al-Sheibani, and the head of the General Intelligence Directorate, Hussein Al-Salameh, participates in a new round of negotiations with the Israeli side, held with mediation and coordination from the United States, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).
The resumption of these negotiations underscores Syria's firm commitment to reclaiming its non-negotiable national rights, focusing primarily on reactivating the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, ensuring the withdrawal of Israeli forces to pre-December 8, 2024 lines.
Through this round, Syria aims to achieve a balanced security agreement that ensures full Syrian sovereignty and prevents any form of interference in its internal affairs.
