Zain Center for Electronic Sports Consolidates Its Role as a Major Contributor to the Sector Growth

Khaberni - In the year 2025, Zain Jordan continued to consolidate its leadership position and role in developing the ecosystem of sports and electronic games in the Kingdom through its specialized center Zain eSports Jo, contributing to enhancing Jordan's position as a regional and global hub for electronic sports and games as one of the fastest-growing creative industries globally.

Through its specialized center Zain eSports Jo, Zain Jordan played a pivotal role in supporting young talent and highlighting them at both local and regional levels, in addition to stimulating the digital and creative economy in line with the rapid growth witnessed by the electronic sports and games sector in the region, and due to the development of the digital infrastructure that the company owns and its active role in continuously developing this infrastructure and enhancing its readiness to keep pace with rapid technological development.

During the year 2025, the center organized a continuous series of tournaments, events, and partnerships in this arena, achieving widespread outreach and notable interaction exceeding 12 million views across various platforms, clearly indicating the growing interest in the electronic sports sector and increasing engagement of young beginners and experienced youth and investors in this vital sector.

In the context of enhancing strategic partnerships and building a sustainable ecosystem for the sector; Zain Jordan renewed its cooperation with the Jordanian eSports Federation through its eSports center, Zain eSports Jo, and the center, in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship and the University of Jordan, established a specialized center for electronic sports and game production at the University of Jordan Academy, in a qualitative step aimed at integrating electronic sports into the educational process and opening new pathways for learning, professional craftsmanship, and building digital skills among students.

The center also organized, in cooperation with the Jordanian eSports Federation, a Jordanian universities tournament for electronic sports with about 1200 male and female players from various universities, to enhance competitiveness and the spirit of innovation as the tournament contributed to discovering Jordanian talents and honing them within a competitive educational environment.

Regionally, Zain eSports Center continued to enhance its effective presence through the Zain eSports Tournament for the West Asian Football Federation, with the participation of 10 Arab countries, which contributed to consolidating the Kingdom's position as a main regional destination for hosting electronic sports tournaments, and the center also organized several tournaments during the current year, the most prominent of which was FC 2025 Mix Mania with more than 200 players, and the tournament Fortnite Solo Squad with about 400 players, along with the center's strategic partnership in the Aqaba eSports Tournament with 165 male and female players participating.

Zain Jordan's support for the electronic sports and games sector, through its center, included sponsoring prestigious international competitions and tournaments, the most prominent of which were the Red Bull Login electronic games competition and the FIA MENA Esports tournament, as part of its commitment to providing competitive interactive platforms and supporting the electronic gaming industry and creating new opportunities for youth to showcase and develop their talents and have the chance to appear internationally representing Jordan.

Zain Jordan's efforts in this field are part of its strategy to support digital transformation and build a sustainable digital economy, as the company continues to invest in infrastructure and develop and expand strategic partnerships, contributing to consolidating the position of the electronic sports sector as one of the main drivers of growth for the creative economy in the Kingdom.
