The initial information suggested that the death might have been due to a suspected overdose, and "People" magazine published an audio recording of an exclusive emergency report for the magazine, and the case was classified as a "third-degree emergency due to an overdose and a change in skin color".

Earlier, the San Francisco Police and Fire Department received a statement stating that Victoria was found unconscious early in the morning of January 1, 2026, inside the "Fairmont San Francisco" hotel, which has not yet issued any clarification about what happened at the location.

Who is Victoria?
Victoria is the daughter of Tommy Lee Jones, 79 years old, and his former wife Kimberlia Klugly. The couple also has a son named Austin Jones, who is 43 years old.
