Khaberni - An unusual incident in a Chinese mountain park sparked widespread reactions across social media platforms, after a Pakistani couple left their twin children in the care of a security guard so they could freely explore the park.
The incident occurred last December in Qianling Mountain Park in Guiyang, Guizhou province, southwestern China, where the Pakistani couple asked the guard, Chen Daiying, to watch their children while they rode the mountain cable car, then left without leaving any contact information.
The twins, a boy and a girl about 5 months old, were wearing pink hats and were covered with warm blankets in their strollers.
Soon one of the children started crying, prompting the intervention of passing Chinese bystanders who gathered around the strollers to assist the guard.
Suddenly, the Chinese tourists volunteered to gently shake the stroller and rearrange the blanket in an attempt to make the twins laugh, while Chen held the bottles to feed them. Everyone committed to keeping their voices down to avoid disturbing the children, and some even took photos of the amusing situation.
The guard discovered that the girl was crying because she needed a diaper change, so she asked one of the women present to help due to the coldness of her hands, and the woman did the change, stopping the crying immediately.
The posts related to the incident garnered millions of views on Chinese social media platforms, while commentators praised the kindness of the guard and local tourists, although others warned that leaving children with strangers might not be safe elsewhere.
