Khaberni - President Donald Trump said on Sunday that the United States is "leading" affairs in Venezuela following the arrest of Nicolas Maduro, but he pointed out that he is also dealing with the new interim leadership in Caracas.
Trump told reporters on the presidential plane "Air Force One" when asked if he had spoken to the interim Venezuelan President Delcy Rodriguez, "We are dealing with people who have just sworn in. Do not ask me who is in charge because I will give you an answer and it will be very controversial."
When asked what he meant, he said "It means that we are the ones leading" affairs in Venezuela.
