Severe weather fluctuations affecting Jordan with heavy rain and possible snow on the highlands

Khaberni - Meteorological specialists are monitoring what the latest outputs from numerical models available through the Arab Weather app indicate, concerning the likelihood of several Arab countries being affected this week by unstable weather and the chances of rain and snow, accompanied by lightning, thunder, and surface wind activity. These weather fluctuations include parts of Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, and later Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, and parts of Saudi Arabia.

Accompanied by heavy rains and snow on high mountains
A very cold polar air mass is moving towards North Africa
In detail: It is expected that the Arab countries in North Africa will experience unstable weather conditions due to the influence of low-pressure areas associated with the influx of very cold polar air masses. Rainfall of varying intensity is expected on Monday in parts of Morocco and Algeria, before intensifying on Tuesday and occasionally turning into heavy snow on the high mountain peaks in Algeria.

Starting from Tuesday night, the rains will extend to include Tunisia, then later some coasts of Libya, coinciding with a sharp and noticeable drop in temperatures.

A new low-pressure system brings heavy rain to the Levant and snow to high elevations
Starting Friday, it is expected that the Levant region will be affected by a new low-pressure system accompanied by a cold to very cold air mass, causing a significant drop in temperatures, increased wind activity, and renewed medium to heavy rainfall and hail showers over Syria and Lebanon, occurring as snow on high mountain peaks, while medium to heavy rains will affect wide parts of Palestine, Jordan, and Iraq.

Limited local rains on some Gulf states
As for the Gulf Arab states, it is generally expected that most areas will experience stable weather during the week, except for limited parts of UAE, Oman, and western Saudi Arabia that may see limited rainfall. Meanwhile, a cold air mass is expected to move towards the northeastern parts of Saudi Arabia, causing rainfall in parts of Al-Jawf and the Northern Border by the end of the week, God willing.
