Khaberni - The Governor of Jerash, Dr. Malek Kharisat, announced today, Sunday, the reopening of the Subsidiary Blue Stream Street (Al-Majdal) leading to the district of Borma in Jerash Governorate, after it had been temporarily closed as a precautionary measure, confirming that the precautionary works and preventive measures have been completed, and all the risks that threatened public safety have been removed.
Kharisat stated that the personnel of the Ministry of Public Works and Housing worked on removing rocks and dirt from the shoulder of the road to ensure it would not collapse onto the road, after conducting a technical study by specialists in the Jerash Public Works Directorate, in coordination with the relevant authorities, Jerash Police, and Jerash Traffic Department.
He pointed out that the administrative governance in the governorate continues to work and coordinate with all service departments and municipalities to monitor hotspots and track observations reported to the main operations room in the governorate, especially during prevailing weather conditions.
Kharisat called on citizens to exercise the utmost caution during weather depressions and to adhere to the guidelines and instructions issued by the relevant authorities to ensure public safety.
