According to the "Agence France-Presse," Netanyahu said that the American operation in Venezuela represents "historic leadership," praising what he described as the "prominent action" of the American forces that executed the operation successfully, and what it shows of mutual support between the two countries in matters of international security and stability.
In another context, Netanyahu confirmed that the disarmament of Hamas is a fundamental condition for the success of the 20-point American peace plan in the Middle East, emphasizing that this condition involves no concessions.
Netanyahu also emphasized that Israel stands beside the aspirations of the Iranian people for freedom, noting that his government "sympathizes with the demands of the Iranians to control their own destiny," in reference to the recent protests in Iran against its ruling regime.
