Starmer My Dismissal in 2026 Would Plunge Britain into Utter Chaos

Khaberni - British Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, warned the ruling Labour Party that his dismissal in 2026 would plunge Britain into "utter chaos" and pave the way for the rise of a far-right government.

Starmer, in an interview broadcasted by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) today, Sunday, stated that the chaos resulting from the continuous change of leadership figures during the previous Conservative Party's administration was "among the reasons that effectively led to the Conservatives' ouster in the recent elections," according to the "DPA" agency quoting "Bloomberg".

Starmer added that repeating these disturbances "would give the opportunity to Nigel Farage," referring to the leader of the populist United Kingdom Reform Party, who is currently leading the polls and is considered the main contender against the Labour Party in the upcoming general elections, scheduled to be held by 2029.

Starmer said, "We know from this experience what happens if we follow that chaotic path, and I will not take us back to that kind of chaos."

Recent polls paint a grim picture for the Labour Party government, as according to a poll conducted by "YouGov" in December 2025, the party's popularity fell to only 18%, after it was 35% in the general elections.

In contrast, the United Kingdom Reform Party led by Farage is dominating the scene with 27%, ahead of both Labour and the Conservatives combined.

The "Ipsos" organization describes this situation as unprecedented, where the personal satisfaction rate for Starmer reached 66 points, the worst number recorded for any British Prime Minister. Another survey by the same organization showed that 79% of Britons are dissatisfied with his performance, compared to only 13% who support him.

More dangerously, more than half of the Labour Party voters in 2024 now view him negatively today, indicating a rapid disintegration in his voter base and a loss of votes towards the Green Party on the left and the Farage Party on the right.
