Khaberni - The area of Helwan in Cairo was shaken by a horrific crime, where a father killed his two-year-old child after brutally beating him due to his continuous crying. Security investigations confirmed that the child was admitted to the hospital with various wounds and bruises all over his body, before his death was later announced.
The Public Prosecution clarified that the accused has been detained for 4 days pending investigation, with ongoing efforts to gather more evidence and complete the legal procedures, while the child’s body was buried after preparing the autopsy report.
A security source indicated that the child’s mother confirmed the father had tortured him because of his crying, before the father confessed to the incident and led to the stick used to beat the child. Meanwhile, the relevant authorities took the necessary legal actions to prosecute him.
