Khaberni - Minister of Interior Mazen Al-Faraya has ordered the administrative governors to release (461) administrative detainees.
This decision comes within the framework of measures the ministry is adopting to give those released a chance to integrate into society, enhancing their opportunities for rehabilitation and enabling them to resume their normal lives among their families and communities, especially with the onset of the new year 2026, after their files and the nature of their cases were reviewed, and the periods they spent detained were deemed sufficient.
On another front, this decision underscores the ministry's humane approach to handling administrative detention in accordance with the guarantees stipulated by law, parallel to adhering to the legal and security regulations aimed at curtailing the criminal activities of dangerous individuals.
