Enhancing the Partnership between the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority and Ayla Project to Support Investment and Provide J

Khaberni - The president of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, Shadi Ramzi Al-Majali, and the members of the Commissioners' Council at the authority, welcomed the Jordanian businessman  Sabih Al-Masri, and the CEO of Ayla Oasis Development, Engineer Sahl Dudin, within the framework of solidifying the strategic partnership between the authority and major investment projects in Aqaba city.

The meeting witnessed discussions on the prospects for joint cooperation and ways to enhance the role of the Ayla project in supporting the tourism and real estate sectors, and contributing to achieving sustainable economic development, alongside empowering Jordanian youth and members of the local community by providing quality and sustainable job opportunities, in line with Aqaba's vision as a promising investment destination.

Al-Majali emphasized the special economic zone authority's commitment to providing an attractive and stimulating investment environment through incentives and facilities offered to investors, which has contributed to attracting quality strategic projects and enhancing Aqaba's position as a regional and global tourist and investment destination.

Al-Majali praised the pioneering role of the Ayla project in developing the tourism product and enhancing the city's competitiveness, considering it one of the most prominent investment projects with a strategic location, which constitutes a major addition to the urban and economic landscape in Aqaba.

During the meeting, the CEO of Ayla Oasis, Engineer Sahl Dudin, said: "We are proud of the solid partnership with the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, which serves as a model for integration between the public and private sectors in driving development and enhancing Aqaba's attractiveness as a global destination for living, working, and investing. We continue in Ayla to commit to developing sustainable tourism and real estate infrastructure, and creating empowering opportunities for youth and local community members, translating our vision into building a comprehensive project that aligns with the Kingdom’s economic and developmental aspirations." 

At the conclusion of the meeting, it was affirmed to continue the joint work between Aqaba's special economic zone authority and the Ayla project to enhance Aqaba's competitiveness on regional and global levels, support the path of sustainable development, contribute to developing vital sectors, and empower the local community within a balanced future vision for the national economy.
