Amman Arab University announces the results of the Work Development and Performance Improvement Competition

Khaberni - As part of Amman Arab University's policy in enhancing institutional innovation and establishing a culture of excellence and stimulating creativity among faculty members, administrative staff, and students, the university organized an event to announce the results of the "Work Development and Performance Improvement" competition, sponsored by Professor Dr. Mohammed Al Wudyan, President of Amman Arab University, and attended by Professor Dr. Hossam Al Hamad, Vice President for Planning and Quality Assurance, deans, faculty and administrative members, and students.

In this regard, Dr. Al Wudyan expressed his pride in this initiative as an idea-based initiative that translates its impact into tangible reality, aiming to develop the university's services and its educational and administrative environment, emphasizing that real development is not achieved by slogans, but by opening the field to creative minds to turn challenges into opportunities and practical solutions. He also noted that this year's competition received (58) ideas from faculty, administrative staff, and students, considering this number reflects the presence of a culture of initiative and responsibility in the university community.

Dr. Al Wudyan explained that Amman Arab University will not only honor the ideas but will move to the implementation stage, adopting the first and second ideas within a clear plan and in partnership with their owners, under the supervision of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at the university to ensure their transformation into applicable projects and measuring impact. He indicated that the university intends to turn the competition into an annual institutional award named: "Amman Arab University Award for Institutional Innovation," intended to be a sustainable platform for enhancing creativity, improving services, and developing the student experience and work environment within the university. Dr. Al Wudyan thanked the organizing and supervising committees, appreciating the role of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center in embracing talents and turning ideas into executable projects.

The competition results are as follows:

First place: Engineer Sara Al-Rashidat, for her idea titled: «The Electronic Platform for Material Equivalence» a comprehensive electronic platform dedicated to university material equivalence and facilitating its procedures for students.

Second place: Dr. Manar Mazhar a faculty member in the College of Information Technology, for her idea titled: «Ma3adalaty» a system for automating university course equivalences for students, which contributes to speeding up procedures and reducing errors.

Third place: Dr. Al Ajmi for his idea titled: Partners in Quality Control an initiative aimed at involving students, administrative staff, faculty members, and visitors in evaluating daily services inside and outside the university campus.

Fourth place: Student Ala'a Mustafa and student Tulip Saadeh, for their idea titled «AAU AI Registration Assistant» an intelligent registration system based on artificial intelligence technologies acting as a personal assistant to the student during the registration process.

At the end of the initiative, the winners expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the university, affirming their continued participation in such quality activities and encouraging their peers to participate.
