To Save It from Oblivion Duraid Lahham Revives His Artistic Archive with Artificial Intelligence

Khaberni - In an innovative artistic step, Syrian artist Duraid Lahham announced the launch of a project to revive his artistic archive using artificial intelligence techniques.

Duraid Lahham wrote on his official Facebook page: "Through the Watan network, we enhanced old videos using artificial intelligence to revive and improve their quality, aiming to give them a value befitting their artistic history."

He explained that the process was not without challenges, the most notable being the poor quality of the original recordings and the difficulty in the accuracy of details in distant shots, in addition to the need to preserve the spirit of the past without distorting it. However, he confirmed that artificial intelligence has become an effective tool for reviving old artistic works and providing a new opportunity for the current generations to enjoy them.

Lahham launched the first phase of the project by showcasing episodes of the series "Sah El Nom" after improving their quality, and invited his followers to share their memories and impressions of these timeless works that have formed an important part of the history of Arab drama.

It is worth mentioning that Duraid Lahham recently continued his artistic activity by participating in the Ramadan drama season of 2025 with the series "Layali Roxy," alongside a selection of stars of Syrian drama such as Ayman Zidan, Sulaf Fawakherji, Mona Wasef, Abdul Fattah Al-Mazin, and Jowan Al-Khud, and it is written and directed by Mohammad Abdel Aziz.
