US Joint Chiefs of Staff 150 Aircraft Involved in Maduro Arrest Operation

Khaberni - The chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, John Dan Kien, said that the military operation in Venezuela was complex and precise, with 150 aircraft involved.

Kien added during a press conference held at the White House regarding recent events in Venezuela: that weather conditions were an important factor in carrying out the arrest operation of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife.

He said: "We disabled the air capabilities in Caracas, and we carried out a jamming operation to ensure the success of the mission."

Kien noted that bombers and drones participated in the operation, adding that American helicopters came under fire upon reaching Maduro's residence.

The chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff confirmed that Maduro and his wife surrendered and were arrested by members of the U.S. Department of Justice supported by American soldiers.

John Dan Kien concluded his remarks saying: "This operation is clear evidence of our commitment to achieving justice."
