Khaberni - Delcy Rodriguez, the Venezuelan Vice President, confirmed on Saturday that the government does not know the whereabouts of President Nicolas Maduro or his wife Celia Flores.
Rodriguez added in an audio recording broadcast on official television: «We demand immediate proof of the existence of President Nicolas Maduro and the first fighter Celia Flores alive».
US President Donald Trump announced that the United States had carried out a «successful and extensive strike» against Venezuela, which resulted in the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife, and their airborne deportation out of the country,
Trump said that the operation was coordinated with American law enforcement agencies.
Trump explained that the operation was based on existing legal procedures in the United States, noting that there is an arrest warrant issued for Maduro by an American court.
Trump did not announce the destination to which Maduro and his wife were deported.
