Khaberni - U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau said that Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, who was arrested by U.S. special forces on Saturday, "will finally be prosecuted for his crimes."
A member of the U.S. Senate, quoting Secretary of State Mark Rubio, stated that Maduro will face criminal prosecution in the United States.
U.S. President Donald Trump had previously mentioned that Maduro was airlifted out of the country following U.S. strikes.
An American senator, quoting the Secretary of State, said there are no plans for further strikes in Venezuela.
