Who are the Delta Forces that arrested Maduro

Khaberni - American media revealed today, Saturday, that Delta Forces were the ones who arrested Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife from inside their palace in Caracas following the American military operation.

 
 

That came after American President Donald Trump announced today, Saturday, the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife and their air deportation out of Venezuela.

Trump said that the United States had launched strikes against Venezuela and its president Nicolas Maduro who was arrested and his wife and taken out of Venezuela.

 

What are the Delta Forces?

 

 

Delta Force is an elite special operations unit of the U.S. Army, specialized in counter-terrorism, hostage rescue, reconnaissance, and direct secret operations, and belongs to the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), also known as (1st SFOD-D).

 

It consists of elite soldiers and relies on intensive training and secrecy, having participated in notable operations such as the capture of Saddam Hussein and the killing of Baghdadi, and receives assistance requests from ally nations due to its expertise in hostage rescue and sensitive operations.


Core Missions:

 

Counter-terrorism: Dealing with international and domestic terrorism threats.


Hostage Rescue: Operations to liberate detained hostages.


Special Reconnaissance: Collection of intelligence information in enemy areas.


Direct Operations: Execution of high-risk secret missions that conventional units cannot perform.


Characteristics:


Selection and Assessment: Its members are chosen from various branches of the military, with a high percentage from the 75th Ranger Regiment.


Training: Undergoes rigorous and comprehensive training, including shooting, espionage, close combat, parachuting, diving, and learning foreign languages (Arabic, French, Hebrew, Urdu).


Secrecy: Operates in total secrecy, and details about its missions and operations are rare and not available to the public.
