Khaberni - Hussein Shreim, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Zarqa Chamber of Commerce, said that the number of certificates of origin issued by the chamber and its office in the Zarqa Free Zone reached 4280 certificates in 2025.
Shreim explained in a press statement that the total value of commercial exports (re-exports) for the city of Zarqa during 2025 reached 513 million Jordanian Dinars, recording an increase of 133 million Dinars compared to 2024, reflecting a growing commercial activity and an escalating economic movement in the city.
He pointed out that the majority of Zarqa's exports in 2025 were concentrated in automobiles and their supplies, foodstuffs, pharmaceuticals and medical supplies, home and office furniture and stationery, in addition to building materials, sanitary tools and supplies, electrical devices, clothing, and jewelry, confirming the diversity of the export base and its role in supporting the local economy.
