Khaberni - LG Electronics said on Friday that it will unveil new laptops from the "LG Gram" series, which are distinguished by its proprietary generative AI model "EXAONE" at the consumer electronics show next week.
The South Korean technology company added that the "LG Gram AI 2026" device will contain the "EXAONE 3.5" model, a large language model developed by its internal AI research unit, enabling a wide range of AI functions on the device.
The "Gram Pro" series uses a next-generation material called "Aeromnium," which is commonly used in the aviation industry. The company said the device measures 16 inches and weighs 1,199 grams, according to a company statement.
One of the key features, called "My Archive," creates a personal database of files stored on the user’s device to provide search and responses generated by AI.
The device is equipped with a 77-watt-hour battery, providing up to 27 hours of use on a single charge. The company said that with 30 minutes of fast charging, the laptop can be used for more than 9 hours.
LG said it plans to launch 7 new models of "LG Gram" in the domestic market starting from Tuesday, January 6, including "LG Gram Pro AI" and "LG Gram Pro 360 AI" and "LG Gram Book AI".
It noted that the "Gram Pro 16" device is scheduled to be the world's lightest 16-inch laptop in terms of weight.
