Galaxy S26 Ultra will introduce a firstofitskind screen feature

Khaberni - Reports a few months ago indicated that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will come with an innovative AI-supported feature, providing extra privacy for the content displayed on the screen. Now, leaks for the upcoming user interface, One UI 8.5, reveal how this feature works.

A screen feature called "Privacy Display" has been discovered, and according to the "Tips" app, it makes the screen less clear when viewed from a side angle.

When using the phone equipped with this feature in the presence of other people and activating the "Privacy Display," those next to you cannot see the content of the phone's screen, as it appears darker, according to a report by the "SamMobile" specialized technology news site, which was reviewed by "Al Arabiya Business".

You can activate this feature from the "Settings" app or from the "Privacy Display" button in the quick settings panel.

Conditions can be set to automatically activate the feature through modifying the "Activation Conditions" section. It can be integrated with the "Modes and Routines" app to automate tasks. For instance, it might be possible to activate it when you are outside your home or office.

This feature is likely to require an “OLED” panel from the latest generation by Samsung Display. The South Korean company showcased an “OLED” panel equipped with “Flex Magic Pixel” technology in early 2024 during the Mobile World Congress. Samsung might use a panel with the same technology in the "Galaxy S26" series.

It is unclear whether this feature will be available in all three phones of the "Galaxy S26" series or just in the "Galaxy S26 Ultra". Currently, it appears that no other smartphone in the world has a similar feature.
