Khaberni - The national Olympic football team under the age of 23, started their physical and technical training in the city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, preparing for participation in the finals of the Asia Cup which will be held during the period from January 6 to January 25.
The Olympic team arrived in Jeddah yesterday, where they held a recovery training session at the Jeddah club stadium under the leadership of Moroccan coach Omar Najhi, with all players participating.
The team starts its journey in the Asian tournament from Group 1 competitions, facing the Vietnam team on January 6 at the auxiliary stadium of King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, then it faces Saudi Arabia at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium, and concludes the group stage against Kyrgyzstan at the auxiliary stadium of King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.
According to the rules of the tournament, the 16 participating teams were divided into 4 groups, each containing 4 teams, competing in a split-league system of one stage, with the first two teams from each group qualifying for the quarter-finals.
