Bowling Ball Weight Mother Puts Giant Baby Size of a 3YearOld

Khaberni - In a rare occurrence, "Markey Smith" gave birth to a giant baby, who shattered all expectations, marking one of the largest birth weights in the history of Arlington Hospital in Texas, reminiscent of the "Guinness Book of World Records" stories.

At a weight of 12 pounds and 10.5 ounces (almost 6 kilograms), the baby "Canyon" was born via cesarean section, leaving everyone in the delivery room in astonishment.

The 35-year-old mother describes those moments, saying: "When the doctors announced the weight, everyone in the room screamed in astonishment. He came out as though he was a three-year-old child, with layers of fat like a sumo wrestler.. He is very cute as if he was a bag of bricks or a bowling ball."

"Fetal gigantism"... Science explains the phenomenon
Medically, Canyon's condition is categorized under "Foetal Macrosomia," which includes children who weigh over 4 kilograms at birth. While the average birth weight typically ranges from 2.5 to 4 kilograms, Canyon almost doubled the usual size, attributed by experts to genetic and health factors sometimes linked to parental obesity or diabetes.

A journey of resilience behind the scenes
The pregnancy journey was not a bed of roses for "Smith," who works as a dog trainer; she faced harsh psychological challenges including the loss of her mother and separation from her partner. Despite this, she continued managing her own business until the last week of her pregnancy, believing her upcoming child would be a "strong fighter," but she never imagined that his strength would be reflected in his legendary size.

A medical facility in Georgia, USA, witnessed a tragic incident that sparked widespread discussion about the responsiveness within emergency departments, after a viral video captured the suffering of a man experiencing severe pain from kidney stones without immediate care.

Once he was out of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and his health was confirmed, "Canyon" became a star both within the hospital and on social media platforms. His elder sister "Meido" nicknamed him "Little West," inspired by his name derived from nature and the American West.

The mother concludes her talk with overwhelming joy: "We are proud of our giant baby, and we want the world to see this little miracle... or rather, the big one."
