Khaberni - Media reports revealed that Morocco is nearing writing a new chapter in its soccer history after strong news echoed about its nomination to host the next edition of the FIFA Club World Cup in 2029.
The account Instant Foot on X, quoting Moroccan sources, stated that in a move reflecting growing confidence in its organizational ability and rising status on the global soccer map, FIFA is headed to grant Morocco the honor of organizing the FIFA Club World Cup 2029.
It was explained: "This potential development is an extension of a long path of sports investments and infrastructure that have positioned the kingdom in a leading spot to host major tournaments."
It was added: "The potential selection of Morocco is not only seen from the angle of organizing a new tournament, but it is viewed as international recognition of the success of previous experiments, whether on the continental level or global events, in addition to the momentum gained by Moroccan soccer after the historic achievement in the last World Cup, as all of this has enhanced the image of a country ready to host an event that gathers the elite clubs of the world."
He continued: "Hosting the FIFA Club World Cup with its expanded system will provide Morocco an exceptional opportunity to enhance its sports, tourism, and economic presence, amidst broad global attention and participation of clubs representing various continents. The tournament will also serve as a platform to showcase modern stadiums, transportation networks, and logistical infrastructure that has been developed over the past years."
