Khaberni - The Karak Public Works Directorate staff dealt on Friday with landslides occurring on the Abdaliya and Rasis road (the road connecting Karak with the Southern Ghor).
Raad Alsahimat, the Director of Karak Public Works, stated that the emergency room received a report during its operation at sites adjacent to the road about soil and stone slips on the Abdaliya and Rasis road due to heavy rainfall experienced by the area.
He confirmed that the field teams immediately moved to the mentioned sites and traffic flow was restored to normal, while the staff continues to work in various areas of the Karak governorate and follow up on all remarks received by the operations rooms.
