Khaberni - The Spanish newspaper "Marca" revealed on Thursday that Barcelona has completed its arrangement with Al Ahly Egyptian to sign the young talent Hamza Abdel Karim.
The newspaper confirmed that the agreement became "final" after the player turned 18 today (January 1st), which is the legal condition for his move to Europe, making him the first Egyptian player in the history of the Catalan club.
Details of the new contract
According to "Marca", Abdel Karim will join Barcelona B under the management of coach "Juliano Belletti" on a free loan basis until the end of the season, with an "option to buy" clause valued at 1.5 million euros plus financial incentives, and ensuring Al Ahly gets 15% of any future sale value.
Concerning injury before arrival
"Marca" mentioned that the player faces a "minor hiccup" before his travel, having left his last match in the Capital Cup of Egypt due to a harsh intervention, but initial reports reassure the Spanish side that it is merely a strong bruise that will not hinder his joining of Barça Athletic training, which sees him as a future first team player.
