Khaberni - Real Madrid captain, Dani Carvajal, will undergo a crucial medical and physical test on Friday at "Valdebebas" to determine his status for the Spanish Super Cup in Jeddah.
The newspaper "OK Diario" confirmed that coach Xabi Alonso eagerly awaits the captain's ability to participate in parts of the team training, to boost his hopes of traveling with the team on January 8.
These doubts arise after Carvajal underwent a surgical procedure (arthroscopy) on his right knee following the recent "El Clásico" against Barcelona in "La Liga".
The newspaper clarified that the upcoming months will not only determine his readiness for the Super Cup, but will also decide his future with the "royal" club; as the captain is seriously considering "leaving" and starting a new adventure outside European football if he feels he cannot perform as a champion on the field due to recurring injuries.
