A medical facility in the state of Georgia witnessed a tragic incident that sparked a broad discussion about the level of responsiveness in emergency departments, after a widely-shared video documented the suffering of a man who was experiencing severe pain from kidney stones without receiving immediate care.
The video, which was widely circulated in recent hours, showed the patient arriving at the emergency department in the early morning hours in severe pain and vomiting repeatedly, to the extent that he could barely stand on his feet.
The man was seen crawling on the hospital floor, screaming "Please help me" repeatedly, while it appeared that the medical staff were passing by him without providing immediate assistance.
The patient claimed that when he raised his voice out of despair and pain after screaming for about 90 continuous minutes, a doctor emerged and asked him to stop calling for help instead of providing emergency treatment.
The scene turned into one of the most controversial moments concerning the quality of healthcare services in American hospitals.
According to circulating media reports, the patient left the hospital before receiving any treatment, later heading to another medical facility where he received the necessary care.
The incident occurred on December 21, 2025, and no official statement from the hospital administration has been issued yet to comment on the incident that caused widespread anger on social media platforms.
